New and refurbished facilities were completed in 2006 including:
- New bunk beds
- New heaters installed in all rooms
- Upgraded bathrooms
- New theatre and hall are available for evening entertainment
Birrigai currently offers the following facilities for the use of visiting groups:
- Dining room with commercial kitchen
- Hall
- Theatre
- Conference Centre
- Facilities provide wheelchair access
- Up to 134 people can be accommodated in cabin style accommodation
- Bathroom facilities are centrally located in each cabin
- Honyong Cabin has 4 dormitories with bunk beds for 16 in each and two smaller ensuite rooms with 2 single beds in each. - there is a central sitting/meeting room.
- Green Cabin has 3 dormitories with bunk beds for 16 in each, 1 dormitory with bunk beds for 14 and two smaller rooms with 2 single beds in each.
- Hatcliff Units can accommodate up to 60 people in 7 smaller motel style units
Each unit has it’s own bathroom
One unit has 2 bedrooms each with a double and single bed, bathroom and shared sitting room
Note: The Theatre or Board Room with small kitchen facility can be hired for an additional cost.
ALL GROUPS NEED TO BRING THEIR OWN PILLOWS.
