Florey Primary School

Welcome to Florey Primary School

A photograph of the front of Florey Primary School Our school has an excellent level of academic and sporting achievement. We proudly promote government school education in an environment that encourages children to believe in themselves and asks that they give their best to tasks.

Over thirty-five nationalities are represented in our school. The cultural diversity and close bonds between students, staff and parents, is valued by us all. The school strives to create and maintain a caring and safe environment which relies on positive interaction to promote the wellbeing of each individual and group.

2008 marks the beginning of the official amalgamation of ACT preschools with their local primary school.  We are delighted to have Florey Preschool join us to make Florey Primary a P to 6 school.

Florey Primary School is a happy working environment. Effective communication and involvement between children, parents, staff and community, is a priority for the partnership in education at Florey. It is hoped that all parents recognise the need for their involvement and support of the school. Such support has a positive effect on their children and is greatly appreciated by the school.
