Mathematics

The focus for all classes is learning mathematics through understanding, this is based on establishing sound mental computation skills at all levels. Students have access to graphing calculators and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in computer labs and through the use of smartboards. Students are encouraged to participate in the Australian Mathematics Trust competitions, practical maths activities and the Australian Mathematics Trust olympiad.

Mathematics - Senior

Senior classes are streamed according to ACTAP, Learning Assistance (LA) and year 7 & 8 in-class results.

Mathematics - Junior

Junior classes are mixed ability classes with opportunities provided for out of class maths an lunch time activities.
