P&C Functions
The first is to provide a forum where parents can comment, question and discuss matters concerning the education of our young people. At each meeting the principal gives a report outlining what the various faculties in the school have been involved in and provides other information about the general workings of the school. If you have an issue you would like discussed bring it along to one of our meetings.
The P & C is to act as a fund raising body. We have organised a schedule of fundraising events for the year and look forward to your support with these activities.

Melba Copland Secondary School Planning
The Melba-Copland Secondary School has the vision statement of "TWO CAMPUSES, ONE COMMUNITY". The combined senior and Years 7-10 campuses will work to deliver the best possilbe education in North Belconnen.
A Steering Committee has been established between the two schools and will be working on the amalgamation in the coming months. The Senior Campus and 7-10 Campus will operate under the one administration while keeping a distinct campus flavour as outlined in the Towards 2020 proposal.
It is expected Copland College, or the senior campus will continue to deliver a high level of academic success as has been the case in 2006 and previous years.
The Association asks all parents interested in supporting the work to be completed in planning for 2008 to attend public meetings as they are advertised.
